At the Exceptional School, we believe in creating an environment that is inclusive, nurturing, and respectful to all students.  We believe in a person-first perspective when teaching students with disabilities and strive to meet the needs of every individual, regardless of the disability.  

 

Our building is uniquely designed facility with substantial resources and space that allow us to meet the sensory, behavioral, and emotional needs of our students.  The school is equipped with a mock grocery store, kitchen, living skills center, sensory room, adapted playground, therapy pool, music and art room, and therapy center all designed for students with special needs.  

 

We also take pride in building long-lasting and substantial relationships.  Through our many outreach programs, we establish community connections that increase the overall post-secondary success of all students with disabilities.
